Christmas,... always was my favorite season of the year.
I have a lot of great memories from my childhood and later time.
Christmas was always so special to me.
It still is.
But it changed a lot and I have to adjust.
Coming from a very cold Christmas season area, often even with snow,
the Australian heat is something I probably will never really get 100% used to, haha.
A lot of Christmas traditions changed.
The famous German "Gluehwein" (mullet wine), does not happen on Christmas anymore.
At the beginning, our first years here, we actually cooked the mullet wine!
We turned on the aircon, put on our warm jumpers and enjoyed a cup of mullet wine.
Well, we didn't keep that one up, haha. It simply is not the same.
When you finish your drink and go outside, the heat hits you and things simply feel not right.
So we go with Christmas in July for the mullet wine now. The much much better choice!
But as for the rest, I keep going to make. Mainly baking.
All the German traditional Christmas delights. I simply enjoy to do that every year.
It so reminds me at the cold and snow at home :-)

But using different types of flour now, I start all over again with new recipes.
I try to keep it as MM friendly as possible.
But, I also will provide some more MM "unfriendly" versions.
Not much of a difference, just the fat content.
Some cookies simply need that vegan butter to turn to a perfect Christmas delight.
